Free Rapid HIV & Syphilis Testing
At Sexual Health West, we offer rapid HIV and syphilis testing. Testing is free, confidential and takes less than 5 minutes. No booking is required! Please note, this is not a full STI screening—these tests focus solely on HIV and syphilis.

Additional STI Testing Options
For further STI checks, you may visit your GP or another clinic. GPs may charge a fee for these services; however, discounts may be available for students or medical cardholders.
If you need a full STI check, consider ordering a free, at-home STI kit from SH:24. This service is available for those 17 and over, with an Irish postal address and contact number. For more comprehensive in-person testing, you may also contact University Hospital Galway’s STI Clinic at 091-542294, where symptomatic patients are prioritised.
